How the online process works

Clear My Texas Record runs the routine parts of Texas record-clearing online, with a licensed attorney approving every eligibility determination. Here is the actual workflow, start to finish.

Step by step

  1. Free online preliminary screening. You answer questions about how the case ended. Your answers stay in your browser until you choose to send them.
  2. You see the result before sharing contact information. The preliminary result explains whether your answers point toward expunction, nondisclosure, a waiting period, or a need for closer review.
  3. You decide whether to move forward. Only then are your name, email, and phone requested.
  4. Your submission opens a file in our intake system. The screening summary and your contact details go directly to the Law Office of Joshua Andor, P.C.
  5. A paralegal checks the court record and companion charges. Screening answers are compared against what the actual records show.
  6. We email you if something is missing. Where a document or a clarification is needed, we ask by email — no phone tag required.
  7. Joshua Andor performs the attorney eligibility sign-off. No eligibility determination is confirmed until an attorney has reviewed the record.
  8. Confirmed next steps arrive by email. You get a clear statement of what relief fits, what it involves, and what it costs.
  9. If you decide to proceed, engagement follows. An eligible prospective client receives the engagement agreement and payment instructions. Representation — and any filing — begins only after the agreement is signed.

What this is not: the automated result is not a final legal determination, submitting the screener does not make you a client, and nothing is filed just because a screening was submitted. There is no instant attorney phone call — the workflow is deliberately online and email-driven.

Why online-first

Routine record-clearing work is document work. Collecting the court record, confirming dispositions and dates, and preparing a standard petition are handled more accurately — and less expensively — through a structured online workflow than through rounds of phone calls. The judgment calls stay where they belong: with the attorney.
