Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 22, 2026 · Clear My Texas Record, the online record-clearing service of the Law Office of Joshua Andor, P.C.

The short version

You can take the eligibility check without giving us your name, and you see your preliminary result before any contact information is requested. Until you choose to submit, your answers live only in your own browser. If you do submit, your information goes to our law office's intake system for verification. We don't sell screener information, we don't use session replay, and we don't run Google Analytics or any third-party analytics product on this site — the only measurement is our own, described below. Because this site deals with criminal-record history, we treat everything you enter as sensitive.

What stays in your browser

While you answer questions, your responses are held in your browser tab's sessionStorage and discarded when the tab closes. Nothing you type reaches our servers until you either ask for your result (your answers are sent to our eligibility engine to compute it) or submit the contact form. Unsubmitted contact-form entries likewise stay in your browser session. The same tab session also holds a random measurement identifier and, if you arrived through a link carrying campaign information (for example Google advertising click identifiers or "utm" tags), that campaign information — both are discarded when the tab closes.

What we collect when you submit

  • Screening answers and your preliminary result — sent to our server to compute the result, and included in your submission if you choose to send it.
  • Contact information — name, phone, email, how you heard about us, your required privacy acknowledgment, and your optional SMS-consent choice.

Where submitted information goes

  • Clio Grow — our law-office intake system, which receives your submission directly and where it is handled as a prospective-client record.
  • Cloudflare — hosts this site, runs the eligibility computation, and provides bot protection (Turnstile).
  • Cloudflare D1 (delivery-safety record) — to prevent duplicate submissions, we keep a minimal operational record per submission: a random submission ID, a cryptographic hash, a delivery status, and timestamps. This record contains no names, contact details, screening answers, or results.
  • Cloudflare D1 (measurement record) — our own first-party measurement database, described under "Analytics and advertising measurement" below. It contains no names, contact details, screening answers, results, or advertising click identifiers.
  • Our law-office e-mail (Google Workspace) — used only to send you one brief acknowledgment that we received your request. It receives your e-mail address and that generic message — nothing about your answers, your result, or how you found us.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics product, session-replay tool, or tag manager on this site. Measurement is done by our own site:

  • First-party funnel measurement. Your browser tab is given a random session identifier (held in sessionStorage, gone when the tab closes) and our own server records a small, fixed set of generic events: that a page was viewed, that the eligibility check was started, which numbered step was reached, that the check was completed, that the contact form was started, and that a request was submitted. These records contain no answers, no question text, no result, no name, email, or phone number, and no IP address. Detailed session records are kept for about 30 days; totals by day and advertising campaign are kept for 24 months. The session identifier is never sent to any other company and is never attached to your submission.
  • Where you came from. If you arrive through a link that carries campaign information (for example a Google Ads click identifier or "utm" tags), we keep that campaign information for the rest of your browser session, in sessionStorage, and include it with your submission so our office can tell which advertising brought you here. We never capture the words you typed into a search engine.
  • Google Ads conversion measurement. Only if you reach one of our advertising landing pages through a Google ad, Google's conversion tag may load on that landing page and, after a successful submission, on our generic confirmation page. It reports to Google that the ad click led to a submitted request — and nothing more. It is never loaded during the eligibility check or on your result, so Google does not receive your answers, your result, or any information about your record, and we do not send Google your name, email, or phone number. Google's tag uses a first-party advertising cookie for this purpose; we disable advertising personalization signals.

Retention

  • Measurement records: detailed anonymous session records about 30 days; daily totals 24 months. Neither contains personal information or screening answers.
  • If you don't become a client: raw submitted screening information is retained for one year and then deleted, except where professional-responsibility obligations require otherwise.
  • Conflict-check records: we may keep a minimal record (such as name and matter type) longer, because law offices are required to check future conflicts of interest.
  • If you retain the firm: your file is governed by the engagement agreement and the office's client-file retention policies, not this website policy.

Optional text messages

The contact form includes an optional, unchecked SMS-consent box. Checking it lets our office text you about your screening and related next steps; it is not required, it isn't marketing consent, and message and data rates may apply. Your choice is recorded with your submission and is never sent to analytics.

What using this site does not do

Taking the screening or submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Your result is a preliminary screening: the confirmed answer requires review of the actual court record and approval by an attorney. We treat submissions with the discretion owed to prospective-client inquiries.

Your choices

  • Take the screening without submitting anything.
  • Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: [email protected]. We will honor deletion requests unless law or professional obligations require retention.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, eligibility decisions are computed server-side, and submissions are protected by verification challenges and duplicate-delivery safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee security absolutely — which is one more reason we collect as little as the process allows.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Questions about juvenile records are meant to be answered by the (now adult) person the record belongs to, or by a parent or guardian.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its effective date.
